Do I need a dedicated WhatsApp number?

Yes, each instance uses one WhatsApp number. We recommend a dedicated SIM for the operation to avoid conflicts with personal use. A prepaid SIM for a few dollars does the job. You can use multiple numbers simultaneously in the same dashboard — each runs independently with its own QR Code and token.

No. All plans include a 7-day free trial with no credit card. When you decide to subscribe, we accept credit cards (via Stripe). You can cancel at any time during the trial without being charged.

It depends on the use case. For no-code integrations (n8n, Make, Zapier) no programming is required — just drag and connect the nodes. For API integration, basic HTTP/REST knowledge is enough. Yes, responsibly. The API supports sending at scale for large volumes, but you must follow WhatsApp policies to avoid bans. We recommend: respecting business hours, not sending spam, keeping an opt-in list and handling opt-outs immediately. The platform includes configurable per-instance rate limiting to protect your number.

How does billing work? Is there a per-message fee?

Yes, no commitment and no penalty. Cancel from the dashboard with one click — your access stays active until the end of the period you already paid for. We don't charge a cancellation fee and we don't force retention. If you need to come back later, just reactivate.

How does the annual plan work?

Text, image, audio (including PTT — push-to-talk like WhatsApp voice notes), video, documents/PDF, location, contacts (vCard), quick-reply buttons, selection lists, stickers and link-preview messages. How do webhooks work?

Every received message, read, delivery status and group event is sent instantly to your server via HTTP POST (webhook). Median latency of 47ms. You configure the destination URL per instance in the dashboard. It includes automatic retry with exponential backoff (3 attempts) and a Dead Letter Queue for failed messages.

For Make and Zapier, integration is done via a generic HTTP module — the standard REST API works with any tool that speaks HTTP/JSON. What is the average API latency?

Median latency of 47ms for sending messages (time between the API call and the server confirmation). The total time until delivery on the recipient's WhatsApp depends on the user's network, but is typically under 1 second. We monitor latency in real time, with automatic alerts to keep performance consistent.

Is there a per-minute message limit?

Accepted Answer

There is no fixed limit imposed by the API. Rate limiting is configurable per instance in the dashboard. In practice, WhatsApp has its own limits (which vary by account and number reputation). We recommend not exceeding 60 messages/minute per number to keep the account healthy. For higher volumes, use multiple instances.

Does the API work with WhatsApp Business?

Yes, it works with both personal WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business. We are in an advanced phase of integration with Meta's official Cloud API (v24.0), which will allow using both providers simultaneously (coexistence mode). We currently operate via whatsmeow, a robust and reliable open-source library.

Any language that makes HTTP requests works. The documentation includes complete examples in Node.js/TypeScript, Python, PHP and Go. The API is pure REST with JSON — no proprietary SDK needed. For Node.js, a simple fetch() does it. For Python, requests. For PHP, Guzzle or the Laravel Http facade.

Is the platform GDPR and CCPA compliant?

Yes. We operate in compliance with the GDPR and the CCPA. We maintain a dedicated DPO (Data Protection Officer), a transparent privacy policy, a data deletion mechanism via API and dashboard, and we process personal data only for the contracted purpose. Our servers are hosted on secure cloud infrastructure.

Do you store the content of messages?

We do not store message content permanently. Messages are processed and delivered via webhook to your server. Metadata (timestamps, delivery status) is kept temporarily for operational purposes and metrics, respecting the configured retention period. Media is made available through temporary, secure links that expire automatically.

How does API authentication work?

Each instance has an exclusive Client-Token of at least 16 characters. The token is sent in the request header (Client-Token). Tokens are not logged, are not exposed in errors and are stored with cryptographic hashing. You can rotate tokens at any time from the dashboard without service interruption.

We run with high availability and infrastructure monitored 24/7. The availability SLA varies by plan — the details are available in the dashboard and in your subscription. What happens if the phone goes offline?

Accepted Answer

Messages sent via the API stay in a queue and are delivered automatically as soon as the phone reconnects. For short drops, nothing is lost. After a long disconnection, to protect your number from being flagged, sending resumes gradually and safely — and you can adjust this behavior per instance. If the phone stays offline for too long, WhatsApp itself ends the session and you'll need to scan a new QR Code. The dashboard shows the connection status in real time, so you know right away if any number needs attention.

The risk of being banned by WhatsApp exists when usage policies are violated (spam, unsolicited messages, prohibited content). To minimize the risk: use opt-in lists, respect opt-outs immediately, send relevant content, respect business hours and don't send excessive volume to a new number.
